Trevi Fountain, Rome, Italy

The world's famous Trevi Fountain, Italy, was restored with GMA PrecisionBlast
and IBIX Helix systems. The cleaning process has been a delicate phase of
conservation work as any lack of calibration could cause irreparable damages to the
historical monument.

GMA’s PrecisionBlast is ideal for restoring the fountain’s travertine and marble
surfaces due to its superior cleaning rate and low garnet consumption. GMA
Garnet’s natural, chemically inert garnet abrasive has been a safe choice for on site
workers removing thick deposits (black incrustations) and limestone encrustation
on the fountain’s cliff.
